DESCRIPTION:Pre-Race Maintenance \nEvery year before our Annual Kids race\, volunteers trim back summer foliage to allow space for parents and race helpers along the course. We will also be doing trail repair where necessary. \nWhat do you need to bring? \nWater/refreshments and snacks for yourself. \nAppropriate attire is necessary when operating equipment. \nVolunteers will need to sign a waiver from the City of Asbury (provided day of). \nWhere to meet? \nMeet at the TMBR shed at the bottom of the Cloie Creek access road. We will be starting at 5:00. If you cannot make it until later\, you are still welcome to come help! The first half being almost completely flat\, perfect for toddlers with balance bikes. The second half is relatively mellow with small elevation changes and bumps\, great for first time youth mountain bikers with average pavement biking experience. \nJoin and Support Local Trails Today!\nWhile membership is not a requirement for participation\, we always invite people to join and become a supporter or volunteer in our trial advocacy community. \nOur members organize volunteer events\, maintain/develop public use trials\, apply for grants\, communicate with civic leaders\, and other less noticeable things like maintaining social media and website communication.
